ISO/IEC Standards Development

The process for developing ISO/IEC standards is quite complex. David Bicket, convenor of working group 21 (WG21) which was responsible for the creation of the software identification tag standard, explains the process.

An introduction to the ISO/IEC 19770-2:2009 Software Identification Tag Standard

As part of his work with Agnitio Advisors, Inc. and with the ISO/IEC Other Working Group (OWG), Steve Klos developed a 30 minute video presentation summarizing details about the ISO/IEC 19770-2 standard and providing a few details about the ISO/IEC 19770-3 draft.
